Sight seeing at CBD, Melbourne - Part 2

This is a temporally promotion booth, sets up by Telstra Corporation. We paid a short visit and there was lots of gadgets inside. They were also promoting Beijing 2008 Olympics, cheering the Australian sportsmen and women.

Along Flinders Street Station and Yarra River. There was this piccolo musician played very nice pieces at this location. I should have it video recorded. Once my video footage editing is done, I can show it to you*.

*Terms and Conditions apply.

Did you notice her background? Yes! Flies... Golden flies on the building. We were so excited and began to design our photographing. Our excitement drew crowds to the location too. It was fun!

Pastor Bong really know Melbourne city at the tip of his finger. He too us to this outdoor cafes. It was a sight and experience which you rather not to miss. We both were busy taking shots.

The thing I really like about this scene is their creativity. The way they painted the wall. The way posters were pasted at the end of both buildings. I quickly fell in love with it!

Pastor Bong was squatting at the corner of this photo. Busy with his photo taking too.

We ate and snacked non stop. After close to 2hours interval of lunch, Pastor Bong and Anne to us to their friend, Maria's cafe. It is a nice-tiny cafe. I loved the ambiance of this cafe. It has such Italian touches.

Just before we left. I was drawn to these muffins. So I asked Maria permission for photo-taking. I was thankful and totally satisfied with it. I thought everything is over and waved "Bye, bye!". To my surprised, Maria quickly packed two muffins for us. And another two for Pastor Bong and Anne. She was so generous. She gave to us FREE! It was really unexpected! My pictures turn into reality!!!

Sight seeing at CBD, Melbourne - Part 1

Yesterday was my first date with Debbie after staying in Victoria for 102 days. This was made possible with Aunt Anna stepped in to babysit my three bodyguards. Thanks to Anna for being there for us.

We left to CBD (Central Business District) by catching a train. I desired Debbie to ride on train for experience and exposure purposes. It was interesting though.

After approximately half hour ride. We arrived Flinders Street Station, which is one of the main station smack right in the center of Melbourne city. We were a bit lost, not sure which direction we were supposed to head towards Pastor Anne's office...

Debbie was calling Pastor Anne to get direction. While I was busy photo taking the surrounding. Melbourne city is always fill with people. It is a super-busy city.

Pastor Anne arrived at the Station within 10minutes from her office. We then headed across the road, to Federation Square. It is a very interesting hang-out place. There is this huge screen showing Beijing 2008 Olympic. Lots of people sitting around watching the match. We witnessed all walks of life, from students to senior citizens. They were enjoying themselves despise of cold-winter weather.

After the Federation Square, we continued walking. Now, we were along Yarra River. One of the longest river. It is a very beautiful sight. As usual, lots of sea gulls flying around. They are part of the community.

The architectural design on the pedestrian bridge caught my attention. While the Melbourne River Cruises is another interesting concept. Click http://www.melbcruises.com.au/sightseeing.lasso for more info.

Finally, the long awaited host-guest arrived! We were happy and complete. With Pastor Bong around, we now headed for lunch at Sante Dining Precinct.

Along the way, I captured a number of pictures. The bicycle bar-lock. I like the concept and design. It looks simple yet artistic. There are lots of artistic sculpture along Yarra River too.

Dylan loves it...

One fine morning. While everyone was busy with their own task. Here, Dylan was sitting all by himself - enjoying this particular book.

Dylan, by nature is a smart boy. He is only 5 years old but he already knew his ambition. Every time when he was asked by whoever, he will said, "When I grow up. My ambition is to be a robotic engineer." Then, he will give you a gentle smile...

That's Dylan.

Deeply touched by him...

Dayson, my 3+ year old boy was helping the mummy on house chore. I was so impressed by him and as soon as I returned home (after picking Caylie from school), immediately I took a few shots on him.

I am totally impressed and such joy in me. Well, I guess his grandparents will be happy too to see him being such a good boy, a blessing to the parents!

Strawberry Donut

I don't usually eat strawberry but I know how to enjoy it now. Unlike back home, all strawberries here are sweet. Yum-Mee...

Wait. There is another secret to it. Dip strawberry into hazelnut or chocolate spread. It will really make your day! Try it and you will love it...

Caylie's performance

It was a sunny afternoon. Caylie returned from school. While I was video capturing the brothers. There, she did some of her stunts. Partly was influenced by Beijing 2008 - Gymnasium event.

She looks really great to me. Keep it up, girl!

Coburg Primary School hosted an event at Coburg Civic Centre. Caylie performed in this event. Joey and Ebbie with their 2 beloved were with us too. Aunt Anna-Grace was around too. But she was somewhere in the hall, busy capturing photos of Caylie.

Caylie's item was first in the list. The turn up was good. Lots of parents shown support to the school project. It was an impressive night.

Lake Mountain Experience

Ready. Get-set. GO!!!
This is call, "Tobogganing". It is really a fun sport. Try it and you'll enjoy it.

We had great fun at Lake Mountain. Dylan had breakthrough in tobogganing and he was loving it.

SPEED?

The "SPEED" signboard is specially for Joshua Ong. So Jo, got the clue now?

I was standing at the coast, demonstrating the strength of wind. It was really strong.

"Feed-on-Rubbish" gulls. No matter how much rubbish they consumed, they still remain white and clean. Amazing yea...?

Mixture of events

I really enjoyed the scenery at the coast. It was beautiful. For those who enjoys photographing, you should consider pay a visit to St. Kilda and Elwood, Victoria.

I was drawn by my children servant hood attitude. They both took turn in helping their mummy.

A minor picture of gulls are the bin area in Victoria Market. There were so many of them.

Lastly, I was showing off the strength of the wind at the coast. It was very-super-cold...

Lake Mountain trip

More photos at my facebook album.

Gulls at Victoria Market?

I was so shocked when I saw so many gulls at the bin area. Without any hesitation, I pulled out my camera and shots them all...

at Victoria Market

As usual, my family will have fellowship and lunch and fellowship and followed by dinner after Sunday service... As for this Sunday, August 10, Pastor Bong and Anne with their family took us to Victoria Market for a "standing-lunch".

What is a "Standing-Lunch" means?
That is my own term. Basically, we picked our own lunch - as for our case, we ordered German Hot-Dog. It was really nice. Because of peak-hour, all seats were taken. So, we just stood at the aisles and enjoyed our lunch fellowship.

Special thanks to William Teo

I have many good friends; brothers and sisters in Christ. They are beautiful and fantastic people in my life. However, one who is very outstanding is my little brother, William Teo.

I want to dedicate this post just for him. Reason is, he went extra miles to help my sister, Audrey in fixing up her home PC. This is very urgent because my parents were planning to Skype me. They are staying in Seremban and knowing William, he would not want to disappoint the senior.

According to Audrey. William spent 4hours in her house fixing up her home PC a couple of days ago. Due to his effort and sacrifice (despise of his very busy schedule), I was able to Skype with my parents last evening.

William's little sacrifice had, no doubt, touches many hearts. My parents. My sister and entire family. More so, my heart.

William, thanks a million!

Unforgettable moment

Sitting here, not knowing how to begin. This is not because I had a rough day but I was so blessed by God. The way He knitted our hearts (Debbie and myself with Pastor Bong and Anne) and also, the children's heart was knitted deeply with theirs (Caylie; Dylan & Dayson with Jessica; Bella & Vicky). This is truly the hand of God. It is a divine connection.

Close to a year ago. When Debbie and myself met with Joshua Sim and Lynda from Singapore. We had this same experience. The fellowship never seems enough and we always long to meet each other.

I remember when we made the decision to leave Malaysia. We were so torn. We thought as though we are going to miss such intimate fellowship. Nevertheless, God knows our hearts. He knew we want to share our hearts and ministries. So, here we are. Another divine connection with Pastor Bong and Anne; and their three.

I really want to praise God for Joshua & Lynda Sim for their brotherhood. Now, the Lord has added another pair into our life. It is my desire that we will be linked in His timing. The Bong; the Tan and the Sim.

Just couldn't resist...

When Dayson and Dylan saw it, they couldn't resist it. They must sit on it. Otherwise, it will not be it!

Well, as shown. All the kids were having fun except Dylan. He was just being shy and less adventurous. He dare not try even though he really likes it. One day, he is going to be as bold and adventurous as a lion! ROAR...!

Sweet moment with Pastor Bong & Anne and family

We started as any other Sunday. We got up early and had the children washed up; dressed up to church. However, there's some sort of excitement within. This is because we were going to visit JIL Melbourne. Well, I was really looking forward to meet Pastor Bong and Anne.

As usual, the service was good and Pastor Bong preached a very passionate and valuable sermon. It was really an important sermon that will lay foundation into the church. People of God needs to hear it. The good news is, it is a good news and this sermon can really motivates people - both believers and non-believers of Christ.

After church service, they took all of us to High Point Shopping Mall. There, we had our first round of fellowship. They introduced us to a Spanish dessert called "Choco-Churro". Wow! My kids loved it and their chocolate mocha was really "A" grade.

I thought our fellowship ended at High Point but they'd decided to bring us to a park. It is a very beautiful park where the river and valley and hill were part of the natural landscape. I only wish I took some photos to show all of you. Nevertheless, the weather was too cold and the wind was really strong. I can't hold the camera but to keep my hands in the pocket.

Well, time flies. I really thought we are going to call it a day. Here comes our next round of fellowship. A dinner fellowship at a Vietnamese Restaurant. It serves delicious food. I loved it! I'd really enjoyed the food. It was amazing!

After dinner, I thought we are really going to say "Goodbye and good night!". Guess what?! Yeap! You guessed right. Our 4th round fellowship began in my house. We had great time and we ended at 11pm.

I thank God for beautiful couple and family. Pastor Bong and Anne with their three daughters are really special people. They are nice and I praise God for who they are. Amen!

Smile... You're on Daddy's Camera

It was early this morning. After washing up all my children, I have Dayson put on my cap. He looks so cute. So, I quickly grabbed my Canon S5is and did a video recording on him.

Everyone was happy!

Baby "Talk"

I was so impressed by this little one - Janson Ong. He is so adorable. I am glad we could catch up awhile. He is really so cute.

Bless you little one.

With love,
Uncle Caleb & Aunt Debbie

An enjoyable lunch

Lately, Debbie found a new cookery gadget. It boosts up her interest in making western soup. She enjoys cooking soup so much and she did very delicious soup now. Everyone of us enjoy her soup so much.

We had good and enjoyable lunch with Debbie's mix vegetable mushroom soup with fish-fillets.

A recall - Family outing to the Children Farm

I took some photos and had some video footages while we were at Children Country Farm. When I was in Malaysia, I never like farm animals. However, when I was here, I was so drawn by most of the animals. I even touched the goat. Why?

This is because these animals are so clean and beautiful. They are very well taken by the people. It is totally different feel. It is the farmer and environmental factor. How nice if Malaysia could do the same.

It was so hilarious

It was after lunch. All my family were upstairs. While I was at my workstation and Debbie was on the phone with the migration agent. Out of a sudden, Anna-Grace shouted!!! All of them, inclusive my three and wife ran towards the window in my room.

They were pointing and looking with such excitement! Debbie quickly picked up her camera and shooting the... "RAINBOW".

I burst out in laughter because we were like 'Jakun" - one that had never seen rainbow in our entire life. It was so hilarious and such joy in the room too.

After JIL Melbourne Service

Right after the service, we had a quick but warm snack fellowship. It was an hour break before Pastor Bong lead in another meeting - Leaders & Workers Meeting. I was so privilege to be invited. So, I sat at a corner and took on the role of a photographer.

They invited mum (Pastor Lily) to share and give a prophetic teaching. She shared very well and it was an eye-opening to many. The teaching and insight was as fresh as a morning dew to the entire group.

As I was photo-taking, I also saw many children playing outside the conference hall. Therefore, I'd decided to take a few of them too. They are cute little children.
